70 Years

Grandmaster Kang Uk Lee
Hertfordshire, England

Grandmaster Lee, 10th Dan, Pin # 70, was born in Seoul, Korea in 1936 and began his Tang Soo Do studies in 1948 at age 12 under the late Great Grandmaster Hwang Kee. In 1956 Grandmaster Lee began what was to become his lifetime vocation as a full time civilian instructor in Tang Soo Do. In 1974 he founded the U.K. Tang Soo Do (Soo Bahk Do) Federation - Moo Duk Kwan, and continues to serve as its President.

Grandmaster William Clingan
Yuba City, California

Grandmaster Clingan's martial arts training started in 1958 in Cumberland, Maryland. In 1962 he met both Grandmaster Ki Yun Yi and Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin while stationed in Korea and began his career in Tang Soo Do. Grandmaster Clingan has also trained in Shotokan, Jiu-Jitsu and holds a 1st Dan ranking in Hapkido under the late Grandmaster Bong Soo Han.

Grandmaster Ken Marsh
Raleigh, North Carolina

Grandmaster Marsh's training began in Judo in 1963 while living in Japan. In 1989 he began training in Tang Soo Do under Grandmaster Jae Joon Kim and earned his 1st through 6th Dan under the late Grandmaster. Upon the death of Grandmaster Kim, he began training under Grandmaster Greg Boliard, founder of the MUSA Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation, and in May 2018 was awarded his 8th Dan.

Grandmaster Dominick Giacobbe
Clementon, New Jersey

A direct student of the late Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin, Grandmaster Giacobbe, 9th Dan, began his training in Tang Soo Do in 1968. A top tournament competitor on the East Coast in the late 60's and early 70's Grandmaster Giacobbe has appeared on the cover of six martial arts magazines over the years. He is the founder of the Intercontinental Tang Soo Do Organization and Black Belt magazine's Hall of Fame recipient in the year 2000.

Master Robert Price
California City, California

Master Price, 7th Dan, began Tang Soo Do in 1968 while in the Air Force stationed in Osan Air Base, Korea. Master Price currently trains under Grandmaster Darryl Khalid of the Universal Tang Soo Do Alliance. He is also a staff instructor in a highly recognized Sheriff's Regional Training Center and holds teaching credentials in a variety of law enforcement weapons and defensive disciplines.

Grandmaster Michael Baird
Tampa Bay Tang Soo Do Center, Tampa, Florida

Grandmaster Baird started training in Tae Kwon Do in 1968 in Winter Haven, Florida. In 1973 he began his Tang Soo Do career under Master Hak C. Kim. His 4th to 6th Dans were received under Grandmaster Jae Joon Kim and his 7th Dan under Grandmaster Saul Kim. On May 4, 2013 he was presented with his 8th Dan by Grandmaster James Saffold of the American Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation and World Tang Soo Do General Federation.

Master Richard Kopf

North Haven, Connecticut

Master Kopf, 8th Dan is the highest ranking student of Grandmaster Charles Ferraro,
and a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association. He also holds a 4th Dan ranking in Shiho Karano Ju Jitsu and has a long competitive history and was a team captain in both forms and sparring. He established
the North Haven branch of the West Haven Academy of Karate in 1978 and so also celebrates 40 years as a school owner.
  

Master Mario Bellerino
Naples, Italy

Master Bellerino, 8th Dan, a practitioner of both Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do, celebrates his 45th anniversary in the Martial Arts. He is the President of the Associazione Italiana Tang Soo Do and the European Chairman of the Intercontinental Tang Soo Do Organization (I.T.O) under Grandmaster Dominick Giacobbe and is respected as one of the most dedicated Masters of Tang Soo Do in Europe.

Founded by Grandmaster Roberto Villalba, 8th Dan in 1978, Academia Italiana Tang Su Do serves as the organizing body of traditional Tang Su (Soo) Do member schools in Italy.

Quest Martial Arts
Putnam, Connecticut

Quest Martial Arts was opened in January of 1988 by Master Mike Bogdanski, 8th Dan.
The school is a member of the World Dang Soo Do Union and the U.S. Goodwill Tang Soo Do Association. Co-owner and head instructor at the school is Master Kristin Duethorn, 5th Dan.

Master Simon Preston
West Midlands, England

Master Preston, 5th Dan, began his Tang Soo Do training in 1988 at the age of eight in Bolton, Lancashire under Mr. Steve Egan. He is owner and chief instructor of the Community Tang Soo Do Association, a local organization created in 2013 to provide training opportunities for people in deprived areas. He is a member of the Tang Soo Do Martial Way Association and a direct student of Grandmaster Andy Ah Po, the organization's founder.

Master Chris Rockhold
Cedar Park, Texas

Master Chris Rockhold, 5th Dan, began his Tang Soo Do training in 1993 in Texas at the age of 19. A member of the Hwa Rang World Tang Soo Do Federation, he served on its Technical Advisory Committee from 2012 to 2014, and is also a member of the World Dang Soo Do Union. He is an Internationally Certified Instructor of Korean Sword & Traditional Korean Archery and the Texas Representative for the World Kummooyeh Federation. His school, Rockhold's Karate simultaneously celebrates its 10th anniversary.
