Great Grandmaster Hwang
Kee,
Grandmaster H. C. Hwang, 9th Dan, began his
martial arts training on May 5, 1954 at the age
of 7. He earned his Cho Dan at the age of 9,
becoming the youngest Dan holder in Korea at
that time. He is current president of the U.S.
Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation and the
World Moo Duk Kwan.

Robert Cheezic
Cheezic
Tang Soo Do Federation - Wolcott, Connecticut
An original
student of
Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin,
Grandmaster Cheezic began his Tang Soo Do
training in 1959 while serving in the U.S. Air
Force in Korea. In a 1974 "Official Karate"
interview, Grandmaster Shin remarked, "Of the
thousands of students I have trained, only two
have attained champion status - Chuck Norris and
Bob Cheezic". On January 2nd, Grandmaster
Cheezic also celebrated his 80th birthday.

Wesley Jenkins
Tiger Dojang -

A veteran of numerous martial
arts championships, Master Jenkins, 8th Dan,
began training in 1969 at the
age of 13 under Grandmaster Robert Beaudoin, and
earned his black belt in 1975.
While in the
Army from 1976-1979, he taught Tang Soo Do while
stationed in West Germany.
In 1994, he moved to
Waldorf, Maryland and began studying Tang Soo Do
under
Grandmaster Myung Seok Seo.
He is
currently a member of the World Dang Soo Do
Union under
Grandmaster Song Ki Kim.

Tnay
Australian
Tang Soo Do Academy - Victoria, Australia
Master Ivan
Chuan Hoe Tnay, started Tang Soo Do training in
Kuching, Malaysia in 1969 as a member of the
Kuching Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan school. His
first teacher was Master Chang Soon Ho. From
1969 till early 1972, he trained under
Master Wha Yong Chung
and then
Grandmaster Kang Uk Lee.
While studying in England in 1972 he
founded the very first Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan
school in Watford, England. He is also one of
the few senior instructors from Malaysia still
actively teaching today.

Grandmaster Mike Bogdanski

Beginning his
martial arts training in 1969, Grandmaster
Bogdanski has trained in a number of martial
arts disciplines. He is currently is an 8th Dan
under
Grandmaster Song Ki Kim,
founder of the World Dang Soo Do Union. He also
serves as a senior advisor to the U.S. Goodwill
Tang Soo Do Association. With a Masters degree
in School Counseling he has become a child
development / safety expert as well as master
motivator and success coach.

Chon Kyong - Schoonhoven, Holland
Master Correlje
started training in 1974 at age 16 under Kyo Sa
Bram Matahelamual. He is head instructor at Tang
Soo Do Chon Kyong in Schoonhoven and co-founder
of the All Tangsoodo Organization. Other arts
studied include Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Gun Bong Do
and boxing. He received his 1st Dan from
Grandmaster Kang Uk Lee,
and is currently a 6th Dan. This year also marks
the 40th anniversary of his dojang,
Tang Soo Do
Chon Kyong, which began under the name of
Huk-Tti Schoonhoven.

Master Dean Kelly
McMurray, Pennsylvania
Master Dean
Kelly, 7th Dan, began training in Tang Soo Do
under
Grandmaster C.S. Kim
in 1984,
and earned his black belt in 1988. Master Kelly
emphasizes the importance of loyalty in Tang Soo
Do, as he continues to train with C.S. Kim
today.
This year also marks the 25th year that he has
been the instructor at C.S. Kim Karate,
McMurray, and has trained nearly 500 students to
the rank of black belt and over twenty students
to the rank of Master. He has also had countless
students win grand champions.
