Master
Diego Salinas (Pin # 35,919) was born in Mar del
Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his
training in Tang Soo Do - Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan
on February 5, 1992 at the age of 15 years with
Master Daniel Maronna.
He
continued his studies with Juan Pablo Pino and
Carlos Pino and was awarded his Cho Dan in 1997
under the guidance of Master Daniel Marronna. He was
also authorized to instruct as a Kyo Sa (certified
instructor) and began teaching in 1997.
He
became part of the technical committee of the Assoc. marplatense Soo Bahk Do Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan
under the guidance of Master Oscar Molina (current
head coach of Mar del Plata) and continued his studies
with Master Francisco Blotta (current head coach
of South America).
He served as
an assistant on the National Technical
Committee of Argentina for Dan testing and participated in the first Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa
in South America (Argentina) led by Kwan Jang Nim HC Hwang.
In
2000, Master Salinas traveled to Europe with Mr. Hector Ledesma to study
the spread of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan in Spain.
In 2006, he was formally named as the official
Designee in Spain for the World Moo Duk Kwan by
Grandmaster Hyun Chul Hwang at the 4th World Symposium Soo Bahk Do
/ Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan in Greece.
Master
Salinas was awarded his 4th Dan and International
Master Instructor certification at the 2nd Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa in South
America by Kwan Jang Nim H.C.
